We help impact driven entrepreneurs turn great ideas into sustainable companies that achieve measurable quadruple bottom line impact

Our Approach

Innovative impact driven entrepreneurs are needed worldwide but many have had little or no training in starting a new business.  Furthermore, the average age of a successful startup founder is 45 (Pierre Azoulay, MIT Sloan School of Management), which means that even if they have been trained well, there will be a gap of 10-15 years from the time they earn their MBA until they start a company.  Most importantly, the training for building sustainable and impactful quadruple bottom businesses is quite limited.

Our team has more than 100 years of combined experience in starting, leading, and supporting entrepreneurial and impactful businesses.  This experience guides our comprehensive technology-enabled solutions so that we can identify, develop, and support founders.  We produce many of these solutions ourselves but offer solutions through like-minded partner organizations around the world, too, because we recognize the enormity of the global challenge.

What We Offer Impact Companies

Content.  Enriching content and online, in-person, and immersive learning experiences to inform, equip, and inspire founders at each stage of their journey.

Community.  Social tools, online events, an online-to-offline experiences to create an engaging and supporting global impact community of QBL business leaders, impact investors, and the organizations that support them.

Startup and business services.  We help founders get launched and build their companies through a suite of online services and legal documents as well as curated services from third-party providers.

Access to capital.  Raising capital even in the best of times is difficult, inefficient, and time-consuming. The Sapient Marketplace addresses this need by helping QBL companies to position themselves to be discovered by aligned investors. In addition, we provide tools to help them manage the work of raising capital.  To expand the audience of potential investors, we encourage companies seeking financing to structure their raise as a Reg CF offering (crowdfunding) to enable both accredited and non-accredited investors to participate. We also suggest companies contact us to learn how their investors can use charitable capital to make a tax-deductible donation to a DAF (Donor Advised Fund) through one of our partners.
